  14. After getting on a Web site, and it starts downloading, the modem freezes for 
  15. RD & SD lights don't flash. After a while the modem "wakes" up and the page 
  16. continues to download.
  17. I use NetManage Chameleon 4.5, and Netscape Navigator 2.0 which seems to run 
  18. even slower.
  19. My modem is US Sportster external 14.4. My computer's UART is 8250. 
  20. The computer is running 3.1, with 8MB RAM.
  21. I appreciate your help. Also since I'm new to Newsgroups, and not sure how to 
  22. read messeges, could you also E-mail me the answer.
